Atmara Rebecca Cloe was voted by the members and visitors of Universe Spirit as our December Visual Artist of the month.
The Visionary Art of Atmara Rebecca Cloe has it's own unique style, energy, and enormous breadth of subject matter including goddesses, angels, visionary landscapes, the beauty of nature, dolphins, images of spirit and light, fractals, crystals, mandalas and more. Atmara began her work as a digital artist in the fall of 1995 after taking some computer classes at a graphics arts school. She had taken a few art classes in college, but did not have much success utilizing traditional artistic media. Once she obtained her own computer and computer technology advanced sufficiently to facilitate full expression of her artistic vision, she found her medium and her artist expression took on a life of its own.
"Creating this artwork is an ecstatic experience for me. My inspiration comes from a variety of sources, but ultimately from the Universe, the 'All That Is' that we are all a part of. I feel that there is an energy, another dimensional "beingness", if you will, that wants to be express through me and be given a form in this dimension. Sometimes it guides me very specifically as to what form to create and other times it just develops organically over time. At its best my work is a wonderful form of channeling and I feel so honored to be able to do it."
